I was born and raised in St Clair Shores Michigan. I attended Lake Shore High School and graduated in 1980. I started taking photographs when I was 10 years old using my father's black and white Polaroid camera. When I was 22 yrs old, I joined the U.S. Air Force and traveled the world for 10 years. Taking images in all the new places I've visited. During my military career, I've traveled to Japan, Korea, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and other places in the States. In 1990, after Desert Storm, I returned to my home base at Langley AFB in Virginia and married a wonderful woman. I am now living in south eastern Michigan with my wife and three wonderful children. Photography has always inspires me in all aspects of my life, with my family and my art. I enjoy getting up early in the morning and having a hot cup of coffee before heading out to my next adventure. Perhaps, capturing an image at a certain time or ceasing the moment at a particular place intrigues me. Danny Klauss.
